Question Bit more help please

Getting there with the bug project but could do with a couple of questions answered.

Please can anyone tell us what the Oil Temp, Oil Pressure and Water temp should be on a 1993 legacy turbo engine?

Searched for ages and the only one we could find was Oil temp.

80-90 deg on normal driving and 110-120 deg on spirited driving/traffic.

Does that sound about right and can anyone help with the others?

Thanks

Mark

My UK97 runs Oil pressure at cold of 7 bar witch drops to about 4 bar at idle when warm.
Oil temp runs about 90 deg C on cruise , more on a hard run or in traffic.
I think water temps are about 90-95 deg C
IIRC the fan comes in at about 98 deg C

Hope that gives you something to work on

Thanks for that, really appreciate it!!!!

I'm down near Portsmouth, sold my Subaru about a month and a half ago now though. Want to buy a house instead. The questions are for a friend of mine who is just about there with putting the legacy engine in his 1974 bug. The amount of work that has gone into it is amazing!!!

Thanks again

Mark
