Default Vent Smoke

I still have a problem with smoke coming through my bonnet vent. I tracked it down to coming off the exhaust section under the rocker cover gasket. Since then I have replaced the gasket with new half moons bolts and seals and the problem is still there. The base of the rocker cover is dry as a bone but the top of the exhaust section is a little bit oily. Where the hell could it be coming from????

Thanks

David

Power steering fluid leaking from the underside of the reservoir could be a possibility. Have a look at the bottom of the reservoir (where it meets the pump) and see if it's leaking. It can make it's way down to the exhaust quite easily.

Or it could still be the oil thats left on the exhaust burning off...
