95 import wagon wrx
If its an import ask to see the auction sheet with the milage on it. Service history is a real plus.
No one else seems to be jumping in here so all i would say is that buy it like you would any other car and suspect everything. If it doesnt seem right - walk.
Dont buy the first one you see and haggle. There are tonnes of impreza wagons about and they are harder to sell than saloons. Trust me they will budge if you try. This is a good time to but too. Crimbo an all.
Have you seen one? In my opinion best bargins are found privatly as warrenties on older cars mean sh*t - experience tells me this.
Wouldnt bother with anything over 65k - theres loads of imports with few miles at a low price but some have little history and are more expensive to insure. Also if you go for a import classic wagon they have the smaller turbo. the uk equiv has the bigger one. All pre 96 saloon have the bigger turbo.
I know i go on about this a lot but when i upraded on my wagon i was amazed.
Wagons rule!

I have a MY95 Import wagon i bought privately about a year ago. The one I bought had no service history from Japan so I had an full AA check done on it, cost about £200 but worth the peace of mind. If you are considering a car loan the AA do a free vehicle check when you take out a loan with them, unfortunately I found this out after I had had the car check.
