Default Lambda output effected by headlights!!??

When I put my headlights on my lambda sensor reads approx 0.04 volts less than when they are off!!

My AFR meter is directly wired to the battery, all joints are soldered. The lambda signal wire is soldered to the AFR meter as well.

Very weird. Any ideas?

As a result the display shows quite rich conditions with the lights off, and lean conditions when they are on. I measured the voltage out put with lights off and it seems normal - 0.88 on full boost, about 0.83-0.87 on lower boost levels, and nromally under 0.77 on cruise, but oscillating up to 0.88.

Mine is just the same mate. I have all the terminals are soldered and everything, an DIY earthing kit made it a little better but it still does it a bit.

I think unless you had a separate power supply for the AFR meter then its just one of those things. Lights draw alot of current and is bound to do something to the overall voltage supplied.

Oh well
