does anyone know how to alter d/valve to 1000rpm instead of 4000rpm it seems as though i am thrashing it to work

 

Never going to happen at 1000rpm.

You`ll need some sort of boost to dump.

 

Not sure what it is you're trying to say here...! Are you saying your dump valve opens voluntarily at 4000rpm, irrespective of throttle position, and you want it to open at 1000rpm...?

I think you'll find your dump valve opens when there is positive boost pressure, and the throttle closes. So the engine speed it opens at is governed by your right foot, not by a predetermined rpm...
