NO POWER
Hi, im new to the scooby world and looking to buy my first, seen one at a dealer at the right price and took it for a test drive, I noticed a few problems with the car and asked the dealer to fix it before i parted with my hard earned cash.
Was woundering if any one could give me an idea of whats wrong with it.
When fethering the throttle at around 2000, 2500rpm theres a little misfire and the check engine light comes on, also when you boot it there just seems to be no kick from the turbo. its the first one that iv drove but would expect a bit more action. the car went for a diognostic and subaru said it had a intermitten misfire but no fault codes, the dealer has checked the coil packs and bench tested them and changed one. but the problem is still there. ANY IDEAS?????
It has 90000miles fssh, 2owners, completley standard and makes no smoke or strange noises. in fact the engine is smooth when you arnt around 2000rpm.
Thanks for the help
Paul

Hi mate,
Don't touch it,just because diagnostic shows no fault doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with,i have a very slight niggle with mine that i didn't notice on test and 2 years later and countless trips to various specalists i still havn't got to bottom of it. Walk away, another will come along.
