Default What thread size?????

What thread size is the OEM oil pressure sender MY98 (Phase1), and does anyone know where I can get a T peice that will enable me to attach either a 1/4" or 1/8" NPT to send the tubing to a oil pressure guage.

And also what thread size is the sump oil drain plug? Is this the same size as the threaded hole on the top of cylinder three?

Which is the best location for a oil temp sensor, it is a mechanical sensor rather than an electrical sender so is fairly large 5cm long X about 1cm in Diameter.

Thanks

From memory the OEM oil pressure sender is 1/8bsp.

I would put the oil temp sender in the gallery above no.3 cylinder, the blanking plug there is 18x1.5mm.

Le Mans Motorsport can provide all the fittings you need at reasonable prices:http://www.lemansmotorsport.co.uk/mo...ing_parts.html

My temp sender has a 1/2"NPT thread, and the biggest I could see was 1/4" do they do a 1/2" to 1/4" adaptor, as I could not see one, and if I did this would it not lift the sensor clear of the oil and so not be emersed and not read properly?
