Default Fitting Defi Water Temp Sender

Anyone done this before?

All hints and tips would be appreciated. Where did you get the adaptor from, where did you mount it etc?

Thanks,
Carl

Hi Carl

I used an adaptor from Demon Tweeks part No HA38NPT costing £20 (page 236 of current catalogue) It's 38mm dia with an 1/8 NPT screwed fitting (I've got Defi's too ) and I fitted it in my top hose. Don't get a 40mm adaptor - it's far too tight a fit, I know Drain some coolant off, remove top hose, cut 1" or so from the straightest bit between the bends, fit adaptor with 2 jubilee clips, fit sender, replace hose, refill coolant and you're away

Ray, you could have saved the week for me!

I've ordered what i hope is the correct adaptor (have emailed you the link for approval) and provided it arrives in good time i'll be doing my best to get the gauges fitted asap.
