Any thoughts. Do people use anything different for R Road sessions like Ice or other???

You can put ice in the tank but a more long term aditive is screen wash. It contains alcahol which evaporates faster than just water. I use distilled water as it doesn't chalk up the nozzels or make a mess on the I/C.
