smear cat food on it, apply to nose and then let it dry for 24hrs - the bloody stuff doesnt come off my kitchen floor easily so should withstand the wind battering its gonna get! ..
seriously, Im not sure what fixing holes you have with a p1 splitter but when i fitted my sti6 one i used 5mm bolts ( nuts on the inside of the nose cone )with repair washers directly next to the splitter to spread the load .. these allowed me to tighten the bolts that bit more without cracking the fibreglass. You can get repair washers from any diy store for a quid or so.

The stuff that is used to fit windscreens (black gooey and turns to rubber when set) sika flex or pp flex I think its called.
There are two self tapping screws fitted on the end of the skirt at the wheel arch end,and the shape of the lip usually means it hugs the bumper quite well.
Oh and there are a couple of clips/screws under the bumper aswell.
