hhhm,
sticking to a reasonable budget.
decat downpipe, £125-150 second hand from here.
dawes device £25 from here
afr meter £25 from here
knocklink and sensor £130 new from BRDevelopments on a group buy.
Boost gauge £50 from here second hand for a branded one or from £30 from demon tweeks for a non branded one.

DO NOT FIT THE DAWES WITHOUT THE KNOCKLINK OR AFR OR BOOST GAUGE!!!!

that little lot saw me up to 260 ish bhp and similar torque.

next stage would be ecu/remap/turbo/etc and cost mega££££££

As Peanuts says really mate. Thats where I started then still wanted more (and still do) Rather than Dawes went for an HKS Boost Controller before upping boost with other relevant mods. Safety paramount though!!! Then new turbo which has seen just over 300 bhp. ECU soon to be fitted thanks to Peanuts (thanks Andy) plus remap and hope to achieve over 320 bhp on standard injectors and top mount.

Restricted to max 340 on the intercooler and just wont spend any more cash now-where do you stop!!! New clutch was required to handle the extra horses so I guess its a case of how deep your pockets are!.

Oh these are on a UK97.

Good luck mate.

Just got the oem intercooler Andy. Been speaking to Rich Wild regarding potential figures once the Apexi ecu is fit and he thinks I may be limited to a "safe" 340 bhp with supporting bits unless I'm willing to splash a bit of extra cash. Given what I've spent over the last six months to get me here I think it might just be one bridge too far and will have to look at drawing a line under the mod list.

Was looking at the MRT one rather than going down the front mount route but I just cant justify going any further.
