noticed lately my drivers side window had become abit jerky so to speak now it won`t move the window at all, but`s making a hell of a banging noise if used,is it fooked? one thing to add is it does bang on the speaker[as slightly to big 4 the housing] occasionally on the way up,could this be linked,any advice would be greatly appriciated before i take the door to bits!! many thanx mark

 

If there is a knocking noise when you press the window switch but no movement then your window winder mechanism is probably knackered.
Sounds like a cog has broken.

It doesnt take long to take the door panel off,so might be better to just do it and check then.
