cel light?
If you run with Solenoid unplugged the ECU will throw a CEL so needs plug re-connecting. If you wish to run with solenoid removed you will need to fit a resistor of equivalent value to solenoid coil across the plug terminals 
If you have set the boost too high on Dawes and the boost cut has operated the ECU will throw a CEL as it has detected a boost control problem.
