Does anyone know how this works, or even if its actually worth looking at ?

 

Use it on all our 2.5 & big engine builds, significantly cools the engine. It does what it says on the box

 

is it easy to fit ?

 

Just looks like a thermostat to me in the picture.
I assume it has a lower temp opening point so the cooling system is working at full tilt earlier than standard?
