Question Rear Shox.. How to remove at top?

Hi Guy's,

how do I get the rearshox off my Type R? I have a rear upper strut brace, is the nut in the middle of this behind the rear seat? If so, I'll need to take the shelf out to get an air gun on it as it's kin tight?

Thx.

do NOT undo the centre nut.......................there should be 3 nuts (each side) holding the strut top/brace in place - undo these and you will be able to remove the strut complete, then use spring compressors and now undo centre nut!!

very basic but simple guide.............

Thanks for the reply. That's fine! I'll get to it now.

The 3 nuts behind the seat are a bugger to get to, just be patient with them. I find it easier to remove the seatbelt inertia reel.
