Hi i have a my 96 wrx what wire from the ecu is the cel signal wire please as ive just fitted a vos chip and with this you get the cel light on permenently so i need to put a switch in.

you could look at the back of the dash as it is easy to see the copper duct that leads from the CEL to the connector plug. This will allow you to see which wire is responsible for it and put a switch in this wire. That way the switch could be positioned near the dash.

 

Hmm ive tried to take my instrument panel out before and the loom is so tight i cant reach the plug at the back to disconect it.You dont remember what colour it was then?
