Clutch Bleeding *Urgent Please*

Clutch Bleeding *Urgent Please*
I've been having some trouble with my clutch recently where the pedal would sometimes stick down half way and I would have to lift it up with my foot.
Today I thought I would bleed the clutch fluid to see if this would help. I'm currently in the process of building the pressure up by undoing the bleed point pushing the pedal down, doing it up and then pulling the pedal up. I've been doing this for about 45mins and got through 1 litre of 5.1 fluid.
However the pedal only comes up half way all the time whilst I am doing this (until this point the pressure feels good) where as before it would be normal most of the time and every now and then get stuck half way down.
Have I given it long enough?? Is this normal??? Is there an easier way/better technique?? Please help!!!
Me and my mate have decided to have a 10minute beer break while you help us out, brb,TIA

Undo the blead nipple and push the plunger back in as far as possible, then retighten the bleed nipple.
The air can get trapped directly behind the plunger due to the angle that the cylinder sits at.
On second thoughts you could just get a few more beers coz its a nixce dsy.

have you made sure the spring is back on the clutch assist arm on top of the gearbox?
I had this same problem and when I looked the spring wasn't there so I replaced it and now its fine.

Oh no! Another one!
This process worked for me:
1 remove the TMIC, long spring on the release arm.
2 Remove clutch slave cylinder off gearbox.
3 Remove the rubber boot and the long plunger rod.
4 GENTLY press the pedal untill you can pull the piston out. Remove the tapered coil spring out of the cylinder.
5 Stretch the taper spring untill 60mm long (gently!)
6 Replace taper spring, replace plunger.
7 Open the nipple 1/2 turn and fit tube to nipple.
8 with nipple upper most, push piston in as far as possible (this also compresses the taper spring). Clamp the piston down gently.
9 Open the nipple and bleed as you have been doing.
10 5 strokes will do it!
11 Tighten nipple, remove the clanp, replace all the other bits in reverse.
12 fit the long spring to the arm/engine bracket. Press the clutch down fully, make sure the spring is still in tension!
If that does not work, then there is one further acton:
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the nuts (2) holding the clutch reservior to the bulthead, under the dash, remove the one bolt holding the pedal assembly to the bulkhead. Look hard and you will find it!
Remove the pin connecting the pedal push rod to the pedal (tricky)
Remove the whole clutch pedal assembly to the bench.
Remove the bloody huge pair of pedal assistor springs off the bracket/pedal (watch out, under tension!)
Replace everything in reverse order.
Have another beer, you have earnt it...
If THAT doesn't do it the Clutch will need to come out.
I did all the above and the pedal spring trick worked.
