Hey mate
Ive just fitted a HKS SSQV last weekend after having a Forge VTA for several months. Before anyone says anymore about VTA's well yes I just love the noise
I found the Forge a good peace of kit really although i decided i would try something new. Went for the HKS after seeing one fittted it looked the bits!
Took me 15mins to swap it over and Ive not had any problems so far. Its very different to the Forge, it seems to dump everything even when on 0 boost then when on WOT it hardly dumps or the valve shuts faster i aint really sure lol. Im told its so that it keeps a certain amount of pressure in the turbo so that on gear change it helps performance? Anyways as for the sound i sounds mint when driving steady as you get a nice woosh noise without having to nail it all the time. I've heard someone else has one of these on a UK turbo and his apparently sounds different to mine as it churps more than a woosh on low boost.
Anyways i can't complain i think its a great bit of kit.

We mounted the SQV on a friends twin turbo Supra. And I must say the noise was to much for my taste. It is a hell of a noice when the bov dumps.
Even the Turbo XS bov with the trumpet was quiet compared to this.
