Default Bosch Lambda Sensor wiring

Getting CEL code 32 and crap idling so I've ordered the 3 wire Bosch Lambda sensor (£49 +vat). Anyone fitted one of these? - just wondering if it's obvious how to wire it up (believe I have to replace the connecting plug it comes with and wire it to the original plug).

p.s. STi v3 (3 wire lambda in downpipe)

Thanks

Kevin.

Recent thread that may be of use. Yes, you'll need to cut the OEM connector off the old lambda sensor, and crimp it onto the new one (solder won't work very well).

Although not sure if yours is Zirconia or Titania. You'll know off the colour of the wires...

Zirconia

Colour Connection
Black - Signal
White - Heater
White - Heater

Titania

Colour Connection
Black Ref. (out)
Red Ref. (in) & Heater (+)
White Heater (-)

Any Motor Factor (use Yell to find one local to you), or Cats Direct...

I just located the local Bosch auto agent using their website. My local agent was in Aberdeen, phone call and the part was on it's way.

Judge, thanks, also what are the corresponding colours on the Bosch sensor.

Kevin.

Kevin,

They're on my post above!

Winders,

It does matter, yes. But I happen to know for sure that the 11983 Zirconia is the right part for your MY, because it's the same as mine (MY00).
