Hi, my bloody strip down the side of the windscreen came un clipped tonite whilst having a spot of spirited driving, and blew up and bent in half!!

Have had a look when got home, and I have lost the piece that goes over the top at the bottom (Bonnet end), and strip has a nice kink in it now!!

Where can I get a replacement, as I fear it will be a struggle as it is all one piece right along the roof and down the back window, and because its a 2dr model I might struggle at a dealers!

2 door strip is the same as a 4 dr, the roof's the same!!!

 

Well at least thats one good thing! (Thought about it after I had typed it, and realised that this has nothing to do with the doors etc!!)

Anyone replaced one or know the price etc??

 

No idea on price, but I watched a screen fitter do mine yesterday, and it just clips on, we found it best to put the clips on the roof section on the car first, then clip the strip to it, not sure if thats the right way, but it worked the best! then worked down the back and front!!

 

£34 +VAT for the strip, and £5 +VAT for the end seal. Prices from my local dealer
Bought the seal, and gonna super glue the strip back down when I re-fit!
