Default HKS Induction Kit

Hello All
I have just cleaned the air filter element of my induction kit. Does it now have to be oiled or should it be left dry..

Hope someone can help..

HKS don't recommend that you clean the filter element mate. They'd prefer you to buy a new one!

But if you must, I bit of ITG oil spray wouldn't hurt i suppose

Probably with good reason.

That's not strictly correct. ITG filter mucus is designed to work with ITC foam filters, not any old filter you happen to have handy.

In any case, the ITG gunk's tendency to fall off the filter and coat the car's airflow sensor is an unfortunate side effect of ITG filters. No reason why you'd want to curse another product with the same trait.
