Just got the front passanger side tyre changed as I curbed a brand new wheel n tyre about 8-9 months ago(stoopid me!)and caused damage to the new tyre.I carried on with it until now but it recently gave up.The prob is, tyre dealer will not warantee it unless i get the other driver side tyre changed too.According to them, as scoob is 4wheel drive, both tyres should be changed together, not just the one.I dont wanna spend another 110 quid to get a perfectly good tyre changed but can I have some advice on this please??????
Not only should you check the opposing tyre on the same axle you should also ensure that the thread difference between front and rear axles is no more than 2 mm or it will be bye bye centre diff !
