Default My radio doesnt work!

the fuse blew in the back of the radio unit. now there is no power in the loom. is there a fuse somewhere else that may have blown or something?

Urgent assistance required waiting for an answer now

there should be a fuse in your main fusebox...

wheres the main fusebox on a my96 there is one under the bonnet is that it?
all seems fine in there

also a collection of fuses behind the ash tray type thing below and to the right of the steering wheel (just pull the cover off)

all is fine in there also! what the hell no power to loom is wierd, the ciggie lighter works tho?

This may be a silly question but have you pulled the wires out as far as they will come?? There will usually be a seperate fuse / electrical noise surpression box further back from the actual feed to the radio.

Worth a try!!

will try that. is that like a silver box which the arial wire passes through, if so no fuse there either, damn thing.

No, that will possibly be a booster for the signal. It should just be on the +ve and -ve feed to the radio!
