How much more boost could I run with this set up?
I have just got my Scooby Monitor up and running and have found that the ECU is reporting 1.21 Bar in fourth gear. Is the ECU reading, via a data monitor, accurate?
I believe this equates to 17.5psi which is higher than what I thought it would be. So how much higher could I go if I fit an MBC with the spec below. Also, any idea what sort of BHP it would be producing as it is.
MY98 WRX
Zerosports ECU
Zerosports up and down pipe
Zerosports Induction kit with K+N filter
Yellow Injectors?
Magnex straight through system
Knocklink and analogue boost guage
ScoobyMonitor
Run on Optimax and Millers
Mobil 1 15/50
45K
Cheers for any advice/info.

Always go with the analog IMHO, you know its not been filtered etc...
Who mapped the ECU? I thought Zerosport were Jap spec, mapped for Jap fuel?
I would be concerned going much higher with a MBC given the rest of the setup, unless you remap of adjust the AFR. Sounds like you have standard injectors, with very well breathing filter and exhaust... Standard fuel pump might well be struggling here?
As for power, 300/310 would be a good bet.

Interesting point about the fuel pump though. I may well uprate it and then monitor the AF at wot.
Thanks for the input.

I know my STi pump wouldn't keep up with a decat, at high RPM... Just make sure your AFR and KL are happy and you should be fine. But I wouldn't fiddle the boost if I were you...
