What would be needed to get 350 bhp out of a type R v5? It already has a 3" exhaust with decat and induction kit. I know it would need a good ecu like a gems etc. but would it need a hybrid or bigger injectors and fuel pumps?

 

255l/h fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 550cc injectors, FMIC, a suitable turbo and a remap by a good mapper ought to do it (GEM I'm sure is good, but no experience. There are cheaper ECU options, such as Apexi Power FC or LINK products). You will also want to regulate boost with some sort of boost controller, as well. My choice would be Apexi AVC-R.

Make sure to have at least boost gauge and knocklink for monitoring. If you go for Apexi with FC Commander, you will be able to monitor quite a lot of info from that.

 

Do you really need a fmic? i was led to believe a top mount is good for up to 400
