the best way is to get your local freindly winscreen company to remove them for you as i found out they come off easily but don't go back on. my front screen trim flew off after i had my car repaired. i had to buy a new trim an now have to have my front screen removed to put it back on.

The trims around the windscreen are originally fitted while the mastic is still soft and so the clips are embeded in the rubber mastic when it sets. It is sometimes possible to refit the clips in the original impression in the mastic, but on my top trim I had to cut off the "ears" on the clips and stick them in with fresh mastic. The clips are damaged easily and you will almost definitely need new ones and don't forget the front and rear clips are different.
Can't help with the side trims, sorry.
