Default Air Con Condenser

Hi All

Do any of you Gurus know if the air con condenser unit from an Sti 4 would fit a bug eye? (yes, stone holed mine just before we get some hot weather )

Cheers

Thanks for the reply, I have been of air so haven't been able to get back to you.
I am in Crowthorne, Berks. So far subaru want £170 plus £230 to fit and re-gas which seems a bit of a rip off to me. Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers

If the hole is not too big, I believe it can be welded back. I got mine done after the Subaru agent told me it can't be repaired and had to be replaced. With nothing to lose, took the old one to my friendly aircon specialist and he sent it away to be welded (was told it being aluminum, has to be inert gas weld or something like that). Cost only a fraction of the price of a new one.

Wink

PM me with the details of your car and i will get a price for you.

Welding is ok but the trouble is that the cores become porus over time and they are then impossible to repair.A new one is the best way to go.....and no need to pay subaru prices!!
