Does anybody have experience of H&S systems on classic shape turbo? If so would appreciate some feedback.

TIA

Tim

yep. i have a full 3" front to back and it sounds awesome. A bit loud in the cabin at speed (ie 70 - 80mph) but then you have to sacrifice something. Car revs freer and pulls strongly from lower revs too. the downpipe is probably one of the best mods you can do to your car.

cheers

I've recently changed from a Nur Spec R to a full H&S 2.5" system.
It's great, no compaints at all.
I'm running them along with HKS headers, so no burble, and it's almost silent until you give it some..sounds great.

H+S make good exhausts and know their business. They designed and manufactured the original Scoobysport Exhaust that everybody used to rave about.

Had them on both of my Scoobs - highly recommended. Quality is good (I had one bracket sheer off, that H&S replaced within 20 mins), but that it is it. I would happily have them fitted again. I'm always getting good comments about the sound. It is certainly louder in a classic (less soundproofing in a classic) than a new shape, but you can live with it (I've done close to 100K miles in Scoobs, most with H&S systems fitted). On both cars I can set off the odd alarm in car parks

I have a ScoobySport H&S Back Box on the Scoob having changed from a Prodrive Rear Box and I really like the more aggressive deeper note I now get....next up is the Decat.

Thumbs up What about a lambda sensor?

If I change my whole system for a de-catted H&S one, do I still need a lambda sensor, do I need to replace the original one and what one is best? You guys have done this already, so what did you do?

Thanks

AFAIK the original lambda sensor is reused! i have a centre section that can be taken off if it saves you a few quid! as you may guess i have a new toy and the scooby is off to a new home soon!
