Looking to replace the standard exhaust on my MY99 Scooby. I would hope to increase power and torque with a system that passes an MOT. Any advice based on experience?

I have a TSL group n back box, de-cat centre, de-cat magnex twin dump down pipe, sounds awesome, power and torque from Std system is amazing,
Come mot time just need to borrow a centre with cat. Piece of p!ss to change over.
Or find a friendly mot station, plenty about allegedly.
