Default Car mats?

Know this is of dubious technical merit but can someone please tell me how to secure my car mats to my carpet. I`m looking for a decent cost effective way of doing it. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris.

A couple of small pieces of sticky back velcro seem to hold mine in place no problem.

Yeah i did think about that but you need a realtively smooth surface to adhere one side of the sticky velcro to , the mat side is ok but the carpet is all hairy and the sticky side of the velcro won`t stick to it for very long.
Cheers anyway.

Any other ideas guys?

The velcro will stick to the carpet anyway!! Put the harder side of the velcro so it sticks to the carpet! You only need to use one side of it, not both. Works on mine anyway.

I've just bought a set of floor mats from autostyle.

They come with a special anti-slip system to peg them in place.

Better still you can choose the colour/footplate style etc to match you paintwork/carpet.
