MRT tank wash bottle twin pump
Anyone bought the MRT tank wash bottle with a twin pump ?.
This replaces the standard windscreen washer bottle and has an additional pump within it for use as the reservoir for the intercooler spray.
If so where did you get one as I can only find one on the MRT website in Oz.

Sort of yes.
I used my jap Stiv3 wash bottle, it has 2 pumps, front and rear screen!
I have used the rear screen pump for my TMIC 'cooler', works a treat!!
Switching is by using the rear screen wash/wipe position on the wiper stalk.
Cheap and it works. Easy to convert back too!

Jap Innovations can supply these (and anything else off the MRT website). Price wasn't too bad if i remember correctly. Give Rich and the boys a ring and i'm sure they will be happy to help.... 0161 652 0920.

P.s before anybody says anything i have nothing to do with Jap but do like the way they work and have never had any problems with them

Yes, that is the one you use.
To do this trick, you run 2 wires through the car, from the rear washer pump in the front mounted screen wash 'bottle' through the car to the boot lid. Track down the wire connections (2 exposed male/female connectors) close to the wiper motor at the back. Connect the 2 new wires, one to each connector so disconnecting the wiper motor. Connect the pump up to the wires at the front. It will need some trial and error to ensure the pump is going in the right direction when....you turn the switch to the 'rear screen wash/wipe' position on the stalk. Hey presto! one TMIC spray pump with simple manual switching for that extra something when you most need it.
Keep the washer bottle full!
Rigging up the tmic spray is just pipes, some garden centre diffuser spray nozels @ £2.99 and a few small holes in the bonnet mounted rubber seal plate.
Job done. Has worked for me for 2 years.
Total cost about £4.00!
