Default Wheel sizes.

Will any post 93 Subaru standard wheels fit a MY93WRX?

Yes.. you would be best to stick to classic shape tyre sizes but the wheels all interchange.

I am running 2004STi wheels on my 96 with 215/40/17 tyres..
You should run if 17inch wheels 215/40/17 or 205/45/17.

iirc 16inch tyres size is 205/50/16 and 15inch 205/55/15..

I have run 15/16 and two sets of 17inch and prefer the extra grip and handling and feel on the 17inch.

Some dude on ebay reckoned he had a set of OEM's that would only fit post 97. I thought he was wrong.

Possible the other way around.. as the newer cars have larger brakes than the 93... but newer wheels should fit straight on a 93 no problem.
