Thumbs up

On paper dead easy - two bolts to undo i think (MY97). The problem is the joint can be seized into the socket. If I remember correctly there are holes in the socket that allow you to pump plenty of WD40 into, and it would be wise to do so.

Undo the pinch bolt and drive a thin blunt chisel into the jaw to widen it up slightly - carefull not to slip and pierce the cv boots etc!

Force the wishbone down to seperate the ball joint and undo the nut underneath the ball joint - hey presto!

If the b@stard is seized down don't be tempted to give it large ones with a hammer - it will damage other componets. Simply undo the wishbone structure and remove it all from under the car (about 4 bolts in total, 2 clamp underneath the sill area, 1 on the anti-roll bar and 1 more under the suspension arm I think.

Then replace the nut and hit it as hard as possible preferably in a vice - dont worry if it mushrooms you can hack-saw it off easily enough.

That's how I did mine anyway - enjoy!
