Hi all,
My drivers side front window (MY00) has developed a "clonk" half way up/down in its travel also the motor seems to be having more trouble than is usual (i know they have always been slow, "there all like that sir"!!). I've found references on how to get the door panel off, but has anyone got any pearl's of wisdom as to what may have come "loose" and any special tools/parts that may been required to fix the problem.

Sounds like the same problem I had, it maybe one of the window guide's has lost it's 'cotton buffer', there are about 3 or 4 going along the top of the door, you will have to pop the panel off to have a look, it's only a few screws though.
