Sti 3 Type r question ?????????

There is a switch to the right hand side of the steering wheel with opperates up and down with a slight orange strip.

WHAT DOES IT DO ?

RB, on my Stiv3 4 door that switch operates the red rear 'fog' lamp fitted to SVA the Jap import cars.
Bill's car is obviously a bit special, and I would like to get one of his switches!
