Default iridium plug heat differances?

anyone know the differance between 7-8-9 heat grading on the irid plugs? thanx in advance.mark

The higher the number the colder the plug.

The more modified the car, usually the colder the plug you need.

7s or 8s are best on a car that is fairly well modded.
