is the filter below reusable, as in clean and re oil, or is it a paper one.

thinking of getting one, but if its gonna need replacing at service intervals i think its a bit expensive

No more power and not re-usable,so yes very expensive for a paper filter with STI stamped on it.

Go for a JR or Green cotton,they are exactly the same construction only one is Blue and the other Green.
These can be cleaned and lightly re-oiled for as long as you own it.
