Default Calliper repair kit

Ordered a set of these today, for front and rear

Anything special I need to do/best thing to clean pistons with (i assume brake cleaner)

only one thing I can suggest and that is to be very careful on re assembly.
Make sure you rebuild using some brake fluid as a lubricant on the seals, and watch when you put the piston back in, ensuring the seals dont "turn" otherwise you will not have any brakes when you press the pedal.

Ordered them from my local dealer

16 quid for the front (std 4 pots) and 10 quid for the rear (again std ) for a MY00 UK

I guess VAT will go on top of those prices

they should be in friday, when I get them I will post the part numbers up

Thanks. Mine's going to be the same then. (Looking forward to the argument with the dealer telling me I don't have 4 pots on a MY96... )

PMSL, be careful tho, he may think its a jap import too

I got asked which callipers I had (didnt get asked what car, as they (well Mark on Parts) knows what it is, he just needed to confirm the callipers

Front Calliper Seal Kit - 26297FA050



Rear Calliper Seal Kit - 26697FC000



These are for Standard MY00 UK Callipers front & rear
