Question Experts: Which is better, 17" or 18" for Handling

Which is better, 17" or 18" for handling on a road race course?

17" will give a better "feel"of the car, 18" tend to make the car far too nervous, especially if not fully set up correctly geometry wise.
I 'd tend to stick with 17's and choose a better tyre option dependent on track/conditions.

To give a proper answer it would be useful to have a little more information such as
Vehicle type
Power
Suspension spec
What type of tyre you are thinking of using

I am talking about a 02 WRX with a mildly modified suspension and a high performance street tire.
