If that make sence?

Basically the plug was cut off the wire's leading to the MAF sensor a long time ago, but now the MAF sensor is going to be used again.

Havent had a chance to look at another MAF from the same year, but if anyone could tell me which order the 3 wires connect up to the MAF on a 98 UK Turbo?

What are the colours on the 3 wires on your MAF?

Anyone got a spare couple of minuites to check theirs please?

 

OK, looking at the MAF in situ on the car -

from left to right ........ Yellow/blue stripe nearest the inner wing (filter side of the MAF)
Black/green stripe middle wire
Green wire on the connection nearest the exit of the MAF

but grey with green stripe, is that the same as your's mate?

 

The grey one on yours is the green one on mine, i think.

To confirm: -

The remaining wire on mine is solid green with a light silver band around it every cm or so.

I would say that this corresponds with your grey/green striped wire. If you can wait till later 'll give you some voltages etc, just to confirm.
