What? I don't think Haynes have done their homework very well!!
I bought a book by haynes recently, you and your subaru impreza, it's supposed to be (their quote) Buying, enjoying, maintaining and modifying the impreza, I wanted it mainly to find out how to change the timing belt and generall srvicing of the car, but it don't tell you how, just what to change at what intervals, as for modifying, it don't tell you anything more than the basics, like air filters, exhausts dump valves, etc
