Default warranty safe backbox

Is the standard WR backbox as listed on subaru.co.uk (part number SACC2147 ), the only approved backbox that I can have fitted that will keep my warranty intact?

Is it the same one you'd get fitted on a PPP? I can't afford the full monty, but I'd like a nicer exhaust note.

any other suggestions? Its a new MY03, only 6 months into its 3 year warranty, so I'm not really up for scrapping it yet.

Yep - the only one that won't effect your warrenty.. PPP one is different shape (round not oval).

Avoid advise like "get a BrandX and swap it when you have it serviced" or the story of the friendly dealer who "wont tell Subaru"....

Thanks.

So comments about the PPP exhaust sounding nice don't matter.

So anyone got any comments about the WR backbox? Does it improve the engine note noticably?
