KNOCK LINK HELP ?
just bought a sti v5 (99)T its got knock link fitted and i would like to now a bit about it
I understand what it does but,:mine has never been out of the bottom green
(just flikers when cranking) could it be under sensative if so what is the correct way to set it
also am i right in saying the large clear led at the top is massive det what colour would that glow/does it have audio warning(beep)? etc
no instructions came with the car so any info regarding would be greatfully received ?
ps looked on website of linkelectronics to no avail

My MY03 JDM STi Spec C has never gone out of the bottom green, a bit scary but hey, ill have her checked out again
The knock light will flick red though if you get it, and you will notice it flash (and possably hear it too, from the engine!). There is no verbal warning, just visual.
You can crank the sensitivity up to max, mine is on there already, its the 11 oclock position

sensitivity should be at max. Adjusted on yhe link with a small flat blade.
Check the knock sensor is located under the intercooler on the n/s.
If these are both ok then it just means your car is running well, I only ever get the two greens, caused by engine 'noise' just below the limiter.
