I have a problem with my driver side mirror vibrating like hell and being quite loose on my bugeye sti 7 . Does anyone know how to remove the mrror from the casing ??

any help / pictures appreciated.

It should be like any other mirror to remove, held on by a balljoint in most cases, you may break it by taking it off but here is how you do it.
Take 1 screwdriver and push glass at bottom until you can get said screwdriver in there, apply pressure and mirror should pop out. It is pretty robust and will flex ever so slightly, the only time you usually take these out though is when they have been smashed so it doesnt matter if they break then.

The mirror has loads of play on it, ie side to side and is vibrating when i drive. The electrics still work it so am unsure what is going on in there ???
