No ,not as a complete engine.
The heads and ancillaries are different.
you can use the short block ( minus heads)
probably better off getting the right one complete.
There is a couple for sale in the FOR SALE section.

I would be interested in the 2002 engine for my 1999 if you have one
(I am assuming that is why you want to use an 02 engine)

the 2002 engine is from a guy on ebay, the auction ended without meeting the reserve, i contacted him after, £1200 delivered, 12000 miles
is that a good price?


i am having trouble finding an engine in the for sale sections, well i found one but it was a 94, i didnt think that would fit.

how much should i be looking at paying for a new engine?

im not a scooby man so am not very knowledgable about them,

i have a vauxhall redtop as my engine of choice
