Default Uh-oh, smokey

I was having some fun on the way home from work tonight with a CTR and under hard acceleration and big revs it looked as though I was throwing a hzae of smoke out (could see it in the Honda's headlights). Oil consumption appears to be 1.5L over the last 6000 miles and the oil looks in fine condition, even though it's due a change at the weekend. Of course it may have only just started to smoke...

Anyway, I suppose I'd better start looking at Worst Case Scenarios. I'm guessing it's most likely to be turbo related as it was only noticeable under full boost, so whats the cost to rebuild the standard TD05 and how does that compare to the cost of a hybrid?

The car has done around 85,000 miles. Is this a good innings on average for a turbo?

BTW, it's a MY93 WRX with HKS SPF induction, Scoobysport exhaust, MBC and ScoobyECU

EDIT: I'm not convinced 100% it is smoking, I guess I'll be watching the tailpipe at next weeks RR day.
