Question help wireing up a boost guage

feeling quite pleased with myself in connecting up a boost guage

( you can tell im not mechanically minded) !!!and it actually works

i now need to light it up at the back is red and a black wire s

instructions are poor /non existance so can anyone give me a total

idiots guide to wireing it up ?

i think i wired mine up to the *** lighter.worked a treat.

The cigarette lighter is an ignition feed. If you use that for power, then the boost gauge will illuminate as soon as you turn the ignition on.

Best to use the rear fog light illumination wire (IIRC purple/grey on MY99/00). That way, the gauge will light-up only with the rest of your lights.
