hey there ppl,
i'm quite new to my scoob and i was just wondering if a turbo exhaust is any different to a non-turbo, is the whole system diffrent or just centre and back or is it all the same,
any help appreciated,

It would probably help if you gave model year. There are lots of differences over the years but someone is bound to know because they probably have have tried it on their own car.

AFAIK it's all very different. On the turbo, the exhaust manifold gathers the gasses, sends them up (via the up-pipe) to the turbo, then back down (via the downpipe, strangely enough!) to the centre section (two part centre on new age cars), and then out the backbox.
On the non-turbo, the manifold just gathers the gasses and passes it straight back. Don't believe the centre or back sections are compatible either, but have never played with them.
There are plenty of other differences in generic terms. An "ideal" replacement exhaust for the turbo would have no backpressure, on a N/A car, there would be an appropriate amount (varies between cars, but would be non-zero).
