Default 95 Ron or 98 Ron??

Can anyone add any comments, not a new thread but one that seems to get a mix response. Has anyone got a late my03 or early my04 sti and if so what fuel are you using?

always use optimax myself in the sti 8 or at least super plus unleaded in an emergency

If your car's UK and standard, you should be OK running 95 RON UL. However, you won't get the full potential out of the car. If your car is either JDM or modified UK, particularly with increased boost, you're asking for trouble by not using at least SUL/BP Ultimate/Optimax, and a Knocklink would soon indicate whether a remap or a dose of octane booster was required...
