any ideas ???
its only for a blanking plug on my dp

From memory 5/8ths BSP [ British Standard Pipe thread ] it seems correct as we buy blank plugs from our plumbers merchants for the decat pipes and they fit a treat with a bit of teflon tape.

I thought it was the 'cat on fire' sensor that was on the downpipe of a classic? Am i wrong?

sorry guys its none of these !!!!!

i tried everything last night at work,,i ended up with inserting a cap head allen bolt and welding round the edge in stainless,,i can grind it off if needed, and still have the thread ok for future use this way,,
